State nature reserve "Ramit" (Romit, Tajik. Mamnogohi davlatii tabii Romit) is a specially protected natural territory of Tajikistan. The total area is 16.2 thousand hectares. Organized by a decree of the government of the Tajik SSR in 1959 on an area of 161.39 square kilometers (16,139 hectares). In 1990, 100 hectares of land were withdrawn from the reserve for the revival of the villages of Kohu [tg] and Novaki Poyon [tg] of Ordzhonikidzeabad district. Located in the picturesque Ramit Gorge, not far from the city of Vahdat.

The territory of the reserve is located at an altitude of 1176-3195 m above sea level, on the southern slope of the Gissar ridge, in the upper reaches of the Kafirnigan River. The reserve has the shape of a triangle formed on the western side by the Sardai-Miyona river, on the eastern side by the Sorvo river and on the northern side by the canyon-like gorges of the Ushrut and Vashrut rivers. The top of the triangle is oriented to the south and is located at the confluence of the Sardai-Miyona and Sorvo rivers, which form the Kafirnigan River. The river of the same name flows in the Ramit Gorge, where there is a river fish trout. The mountainous area has a rich flora, where there are several names of medicinal herbs. The fauna of the reserve is rich in mountain goats, wild boars, as well as other species of animals and birds. One of the significant achievements of the reserve is the creation of an artificial population of Bukhara deer, the preservation of the gene pool of natural complexes. The Ramit Gorge was declared a tourism zone by a decree of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, where there are many facilities for accommodation, food and medical services. The reserve is located more than 80 kilometers from the city of Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan. In the Ramit Gorge there are health resorts, children's recreation camps, there is a hot spring in the town of Kaltuch, where a boarding house has been created to treat citizens. Travel to the territory of the reserve is organized by agreement with the administration by ordered transport.
