Development of bilateral cooperation


Today, on May 29, 2018, First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Militia Major General Alamshozoda Abdurahmon Alamsho met with the delegation of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan led by the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee of the Pakistani Army, General Zubair Mahmood Hayat.

At first, First Deputy Interior Minister, Militia Major-General Alamshozoda Abdurahmon, greeting the guests, noted that the peoples of Pakistan and Tajikistan have a strong friendship and long-standing partnership.


It was noted that a number of agreements were signed in this process aimed at combating organized crime, including terrorism, extremism, illicit trafficking of narcotic substances, threats and challenges of the modern world, which are one of the global problems of the whole planet.

In turn, Mr. Zubair Mahmood Hayat expressed his gratitude for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and assured that he will use all available opportunities in the joint struggle against terrorism, extremism and separatism.
Also during the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the exchange of experience and information and other issues of mutual interest.
The meeting was held in an atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding.
