Opening of the working rooms of the public cooperation group with the police in the Rasht district

12.04. 2017, in the building of the rural jamoat of Navobod, Rasht district, two working rooms of the working group of public cooperation with the police were put into operation.

The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs major-general of militia Saidzoda Mahmadsaid Boron, Chairman of the Rasht district Loikzoda Kanoatsho Kholik, Chief of the DMIA of the Rasht region, police colonel Shafizoda Rustam Ismoil, representatives of the US Embassy in Tajikistan Mr. James Berg, the international organization Save of World, Mr. Khirad Kargasov, police officers, members of the working group for police cooperation with society, the Public Council for the Promotion of Civil Society in the reform of the police in Rasht district and the public.
It should be noted that this event is part of the strategy and the Police Reform (Development) Program for 2013-2020 with the support of the Embassy of America in Tajikistan.
The working rooms of the Group for cooperation with the police meet all modern requirements, equipped with computer equipment and other necessary equipment. It will work members of the working group of the Public Council and police officers in close interaction with the population, within the framework of the state program on police reform in Tajikistan.

During the speeches, the participants of the event noted that such cooperation of police officers with the public would contribute to ensuring the safety of citizens, public order and the timely prevention of crimes and offenses.
