With the aim of developing sports, campaigning and promoting a healthy lifestyle in society, strengthening friendship and communication among employees of law enforcement agencies, law enforcement agencies, enterprises and institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan, various sports events are annually held by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, in which athletes of different ages participate, professions and specialties.
Thus, in February 2021, in honor of the celebration of the "30th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan", open sports competitions in mini-football, sambo, hammer throwing, checkers and chess will be held among law enforcement officials, law enforcement agencies, enterprises and institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan for the purchase of the "Cup of the Minister of Internal Affairs Republic of Tajikistan".
The opening ceremony of the sports competition took place on February 13 this year in the hall of the State Institution of the Olympic Center for National Teams of the city of Dushanbe, where the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, representatives of the Committee on Youth and Sports Affairs under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and sports veterans, athletes and fans took part.
The leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in the light of the implementation of the creative policy of the state and the government of the country, under the leadership of the Leader of the Nation, President of the country, respected Emomali Rahmon, is taking all necessary measures to develop sports and promote a healthy lifestyle in society.
Confidence was expressed that in the future such sports competitions will be organized and held in the future, which will contribute to the unity, peace, prosperity and progress of our country.
After the national anthem was sounded, Deputy Minister Major-General of Militia Barotali Hamidzoda officially opened competitions in futsal, sambo, chess, among law enforcement officers, security forces, enterprises and institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan to receive the "Cup of the Minister of Internal Affairs" .
Currently, sports competitions are underway, we will provide additional information later.
It should be noted that the mini-football games have started. In this competition, 30 teams, 10 teams over 40 and 7 teams over 55, take part in the youth group, which is more than last year.
