On February 14, 2022, in the building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, a meeting was held between the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Major General of Militia Rahmonzoda Saidnakhsh Khakim and the official delegation of the International Criminal Police Organization "Interpol" chaired by Mr. Abdulaziz Ubaydullo - Head of the Department for Global Affairs and Regional Support " Interpol".
During the meeting, issues of expanding cooperation between the National Bureau "Interpol" of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan with the General Secretariat of "Interpol" and issues of its technical support in solving existing problems of bodies were discussed.
The parties exchanged views on the growing threat of terrorism and extremism in connection with the events in Afghanistan, as well as on the global nature of organized crime, ways to effectively combat this phenomenon and exchange of information.
