On April 16, 2019, in the small hall of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, a meeting was held between the Minister of Internal Affairs, Colonel General Militia Rakhimzoda Ramazon Hamro and the Special Representative on Combating Terrorism and External Security of the PRC Mr. Chen Guopin.
At the beginning of the meeting, Minister of Internal Affairs Ramazon Rahimzoda, welcoming the guests and stressed that from year to year the mutually beneficial cooperation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Public Security of the People’s Republic of China on the basis of bilateral and multilateral agreements is strengthened and expanded.
Also during the meeting, the sides discussed issues of strengthening cooperation in the fight against three evils, the exchange of information and experience, the training of highly qualified personnel and the provision of material and technical assistance.
Mr. Cheng Guoping, Special Representative for Combating Terrorism and External Security of the People's Republic of China, noted that Tajikistan is on the front line in the fight against new challenges and threats and the Chinese side is ready to cooperate and will always provide its assistance.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed satisfaction with the expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation.
