Expanding cooperation in combating threats and challenges of the modern world

On September 21, 2017, deputy Minister of Internal Affairs major-general of the militia Saidzoda Mahmadsaid Boron met with the delegation of the People's Republic of China under the leadership of the deputy Head of the foreign security separtment of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, Mr. Sao Xiaolin.

At first, deputy Minister of Internal Affairs major-general of the militia Saidzoda Mahmadsaid Boron, greeting the Chinese delegation for coming to Tajikistan, noted that the basis of our bilateral cooperation is the signed agreements and memoranda, and contribute to the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries' internal affairs bodies in the fight against terrorism, extremism and separatism.

It was noted that the Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China provided a number of technical assistance to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, and seminars and trainings are regularly organized and conducted to improve the professional skills and knowledge of employees.

Employees of the Tajik interior ministry traveled to the People's Republic of China to train in the fight against crime, including in the field of information security, forensic science, cynology and the fight against terrorism, such trainings and seminars give positive results.
During the meeting, the sides held fruitful negotiations on strengthening and expanding practical cooperation in the fight against modern challenges and threats.
The parties assured that they are always ready to cooperate in resolving the issues, will use all available opportunities in the joint struggle against organized crime, such as terrorism, extremism, separatism and human trafficking.
