The discussion of bilateral cooperation

The Ministry of Internal Affairs held a meeting with representative of the Embassy of the United States in Tajikistan with Mrs. Esther Tetruashvili.

The meeting was also attended by Head of the Department of International Cooperation Ministry of Internal Affairs militia colonel Zumrad Abdullozoda, Deputy Head of the MIA Academy for Science militia colonel Karimjhon Soliyev and responsible persons of the Department for Combating Organized Crime Ministry of Internal Affairs.

During the meeting the sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of combating human trafficking, strengthening to prevent negative phenomena and assisting victims of trafficking.
It was noted that the Republic of Tajikistan since independence as a member of the world community recognize and accept all the international instruments on human rights.
In this regard, has also been ratified by a number of legal acts, including the Act was enacted the Republic of Tajikistan on the 26th July 2014 "On combating human trafficking and assisting victims of trafficking."
The basis of the Republic of Tajikistan legislation to protect the rights of citizens of trafficking are the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Code of administrative offenses, civil, family and labor codes of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan express that Man, his rights and liberties shall be the supreme value and it shall be recognized, observed and protected by the state.
At the end of the meeting the sides expressed satisfaction with the development of mutually beneficial cooperation.
