July 29, 2018 at 15:30, an unknown driver in a motor vehicle made a run a foreign citizen-cyclist consisting of 7 people in the territory of the jamoat of Sebaston, Dangara District, Khatlon region, and disappeared from the spot of the accident.
Subsequently, 3 foreign citizens were killed at the spot, and another foreign citizen died at the Dangara District Hospital.
Under the instruction of the Head of State, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon, all units of law enforcement agencies were mobilized to apprehend the offender.
On the spot of the incident, a working group of the General Prosecutor's Office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the State Committee for National Security created a special brigade, operative-search measures to uncover the crime are being conducted.
The first version assumes a traffic accident; other versions are also being processed.
Three other foreign citizens who received minor injuries were provided medical assistance and moral and psychological support.
